What is the absolute latest version of TypeXtra?
I'm asking because i get some errors running it on Windows 11 when looking up certain game.exe(s) for certain games to launch. I have to be honest, i don't like TeknoParrot because they're got a monopoly on game launches now and no one (on the net) is really competing with them and it's given them WAY too much control over things. I would like to keep the old-standards running.
Hey man. Sorry I missed this. I'm afraid I haven't been maintaining TypeXtra due to lots of factors. Tbh - it's a pain to maintain as you are likely aware - it's a lot more difficult that a single emulator for a single emulator's games. It's nastily enmeshed with the original. games' binaries - thus things like compatibility could be TypeXtra or indeed the game binaries themselves. It's a sticky area to develop in.
I hear what you're saying about TechnoParrot. I haven't looked into it a great deal, but I understand there are some kind of paywalled features, which is going to prove divisive.
